The College of Teachers is the oldest professional body for teachers and those who work alongside them in the UK. It accredits courses worldwide in many genres and at all levels, from TESOL to Specific Learning Difficulties to Health and Safety training in industry.

College of Teachers awards are official UK professional qualifications given to those involved in the education of others since 1849.

The International Association of Teachers of English as a Foreign Language (IATEFl, U.K.)

IATEFL stands for the International Association of Teachers of English as a Foreign Language and our mission is to link, develop and support English Language Teaching professionals throughout the world. Founded in the UK in 1967, it now has over 3,500 members in 100 different countries throughout the world.
